Joining with an invitation
Families join My Family School by invitation for now. A parent or guardian who is an adult (the age of majority where you live) makes one account for the whole family, then adds each child. Children never sign up, and never type an email or password.
Making your account
- Open Sign up.
- Type your email, a password of at least 8 characters, and the invite code from your invitation. Capitals, spaces and dashes in the code don't matter.
- Tick the box to say you're an adult and the parent or legal guardian of the children you add, and that you agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
- Press Create family account.
Your family page opens next, where you add your first child: see Adding a child.
When the code doesn't work
The form says why. For a code we don't know, check it against your invitation. For a code that has expired, has been used by as many families as it was for, or no longer works, ask whoever sent your invitation for a new one.
No invite code?
Join the waitlist, and we'll write to you once, when My Family School opens for your child's grade and where you live. While new families can't join at all, the sign-up page says so and offers the waitlist.
Signing in again
Sign in with your email and password; see Email, password and signing out if you've forgotten the password. Signing in opens your children's classes, and the parent pages ask for your parent PIN.
Didn't find your answer? See Questions parents ask, or write to us. You don't need to sign in.
