Consents and voice classes
For your family
When you make your account, one box covers three things: that you're an adult and the parent or legal guardian of the children you add, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy. When one of them changes, we ask again before the family pages open, and say what changed. If you choose Not now, you still see your children's lessons and reports, but classes stay off until you agree.
Voice classes, child by child
Before a child's first class, a parent needs to allow their voice classes. Your child's page says what they involve, then asks you to tick that you've read how voice classes work and press Allow voice classes. In short: your child talks with an AI teacher, and their voice goes to our voice providers, LiveKit and xAI, which can be outside Canada.
You can stop voice classes for a child at any time, in their settings or on the Privacy and consents page. It applies from the next class, and you can allow them again later.
Every answer is kept, with its version and when you gave it, so stopping adds a new answer rather than erasing the old one. Privacy and consents shows where each stands.
