Your child's books
Each unit has a book that grows as your child learns: every lesson they finish adds its page. Once your child has finished a lesson in a unit, Book appears by the unit's name in their lessons, on their own page and on the family pages. Right after class, My notebook also has See this lesson in my book.
A lesson's page has:
- Learn: what the teacher showed on the board, step by step.
- Read: the lesson's story, if it has one, page by page, to read again.
- Play and Practice: the lesson's activities and practice questions, with room to answer on paper, to do again away from the screen.
- Remember: the lesson's key points.
- Talk about it at home: a question to talk about together.
The warm-up and the exit ticket aren't in the book, so a second go at a lesson still shows what your child can do on their own.
Printing
Print gives the book without the website around it, each lesson starting on a new sheet. The book on your child's own page has no answers. The copy on the family pages ends with For parents: what each lesson teaches and the answers to its practice, on a sheet of their own.
